König + Neurath impresses with Barcamp tour and sustainability film

Karben, July 2025 – Double delight for König + Neurath: The company has been named WINNER twice at the prestigious German Brand Award 2025 – in the category "Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation – Brand Communication – Events" for its Barcamp Tour 2024 and in the category "Videos" for its sustainability film #erneuernstattersetzen (renew instead of replace).

Inspiring event format: the Barcamp Tour 2024

With the Barcamp Tour 2024, König + Neurath has established an innovative event format that focuses on dialogue, participation and networking. Building on the success of K+N LIVE Event 2023, the tour offered an agile platform where participants could exchange ideas on current topics in the world of work such as new leadership, hybrid working, mental health and artificial intelligence, discuss them together and take away strong new impulses. Over 40 interactive sessions were professionally moderated and visually documented with the help of graphic recording.

The Barcamp tour has impressively demonstrated how we can bring people, knowledge and ideas together in a creative way – which is exactly what makes for lively brand management.

The format will be continued in 2025: König + Neurath will carry on the Barcamp idea as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations in September. High-profile speakers will provide strong impetus, best practice ideas and new approaches in their keynotes. The focus topics of "People in Transition", "Digital Transformation" and "Sustainability" will offer participants space for networking, lively discussions and joint brainstorming.

The company is thus also underlining its role as an innovative, responsible designer and driving force behind the future of the office. König + Neurath sees itself as a platform for networking between a wide range of disciplines – with the aim of thinking outside the box and opening up new perspectives on the working world of tomorrow.

Sustainability with a wink: the film #erneuernstattersetzen

The company's own sustainability film, which impressively conveys how the circular economy is lived at König + Neurath, also received an award. The story is told from the unusual perspective of an office chair that undergoes sustainable renewal through an upcycling process. The film combines emotional imagery, subtle humour and authentic sustainability aspects without moralising, but with a great deal of creativity. This also reflects the focus on sustainable reuse and refurbishment concepts, developing recyclable products and offering systematic solutions for reusing existing furniture. The goal: to significantly extend the life cycle of furnishing solutions, conserve resources and reduce CO₂ emissions.
